RWBY OCs: Saffron Luminate(Redesigned)

Saffron grew up with a bearable life. Not a perfect life, a bearable one. She behaved when told to, she did what she was told, and overall, tried to be the best she could be. But that was 5 years ago. When Saffron moved on to Sanctum at the age of 12, she started to let out her inner self. She was tough, sassy, determined, and only did what she was told if it appealed to her/was of her interest. Saffron was a close rival to Phyrra Nikos, another graduate of Sanctum, even though neither of them were aware of it. This was simply how they were seen by others at Sanctum. 5 years later, Saffron, along with others at Sanctum, moved onto their training at Beacon Academy, where she later met her future teammates and friends.

Saffron was known not just for her sass and looks, but her choice in donning a skin-tight suit with merely a belt, pistol holster, and a pair of boots to complete it. Not many know why she made such a decision, but so far, no-one has had any problem with it. Saffron's looks(which developed at the age of 11), were what drew the attention of most guys back at Sanctum and in Beacon. Her emerald green eyes and her flowing, blonde hair, attracted the likes of many guys, who only loved her for her physical appearance. Very rarely, any guys who showed interest in her, were attracted by her skills.

Relationships:

-Mystic Cobalt: Saffron met Mystic at Beacon, first, on the airship that brought various students to Beacon. Second, during the initiation, at the Beacon Cliffs. Of all the guys she caught the attention of, Mystic was the only one she showed interest in, and the only guy to like her for who she is. Not just for her looks, or her skills. Her inner self. Saffron is now Mystic's girlfriend, whom is protected with Mystic's life.

-Phyrra Nikos: Saffron befriended Phyrra back in Sanctum, before they moved on to Beacon. Even though the two don't interact as much as people would expect them to, there's no doubt about their friendship.

-Yang Xiao Long: Saffron met Yang after the initiation, after the announcement of the formed teams. At first, the two got off on the wrong foot. But after some time, Saffron and Yang tried again, and are now as good friends as any two could be.

-Onyx Troneidas: Saffron respects Onyx, knowing what happened to him years ago. But aside from that, the two don't speak very often.

-Gemini Knein: Saffron would drop in at unexpected moments, to either scare the heck out of Gemini, or to playfully tease him for being such a braniac.

The reason I redesigned Saffron, was because I wanted to go for something different than what her name suggested. When you hear the name Saffron, you usually think of someone with blonde hair, right? Well, not this time. Her signature color is still yellow, yes, but there's no reason she can't be a brunette, right? Also, this version turned out much better looking than the original design. I think Saffron and Rose actually closely rival each other, wouldn't you say? But what do I know, you can't exactly compare a brunette to a lightish-redhead, can you? You probably can. But I won't. Also, yes, I was being lazy with her hand.
